Black and white photo of a woman sitting at a table holding a camera with a large lens, looking at the camera with a slight smile, wearing a leather jacket and a ring on her finger.

From Andriana:

Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a creative family with old Polaroid cameras lying around the house, and as a little girl, I was notorious for sneaking off with them and using up all the film. I was fascinated by photographs then, and I still am now.

That curiosity eventually became something I dedicated my life to. I went on to earn both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in photography, spending years studying the medium, developing my eye and figuring out what makes an image feel meaningful to me.

I've always been most interested in the moments that are easy to miss.

A gesture, an expression, the way someone looks at you when your attention is somewhere else. The little pieces of a day that may not seem significant while they're happening, but somehow become the photographs you return to years later.

That way of seeing shapes how I photograph weddings.

My work blends documentary, fine art and editorial photography. I don't want your entire wedding day to feel like a photoshoot, and I also don't expect you to magically know what to do in front of my camera. There are moments when I'll simply observe and let things happen, and there are moments when I'll step in, give direction, adjust something or help create a portrait that feels intentional.

I love a beautifully composed portrait just as much as I love an imperfect photograph made in half a second because something was happening and I knew I needed to catch it.

After years of studying and making photographs, I've learned that technical perfection isn't necessarily what makes an image important. It's the connection you have to it.

That's ultimately what I want to create for the people who trust me with their wedding.

I take on a select number of weddings each year because this work is deeply personal to me. I want to have the time and creative energy to care about each one individually, rather than letting something I love become a formula.

Every wedding gives me a new group of people to observe, a new environment to respond to and a completely different story to photograph.

I cannot wait to capture yours🤍
